PLEASE HELP US IF YOU CAN WE ARE NOT ASKING FOR MONEY
South Killingholme Youth Development Scheme are trying to raise money to restore the play park on Greengate Lane,
We are applying for a grant from WREN.If you could find the time to sign our petiton we would be very grateful.
When you're at a loss about what to do to keep your children happy and healthy, you can go to a playground. Children of all ages can spend hours swinging, climbing, balancing, running and interacting with each other in these indispensable arenas.
There are many Physical and social benefits from keeping the play ground safe and functhinal, and open to the public for children of all ages and all abilitys.
Playground equipment gets children moving and having fun at the same time. Slides provide climbing exercise for the legs; bars exercise arms and shoulders; jungle gyms strengthen arms, legs and shoulders; and all the equipment together encourages children to run from one piece to another, giving them a healthy dose of cardiovascular, heart-healthy exercise.
Children learn how to take turns and exercise self-control waiting for a swing to open up; they can observe each other on all the equipment; and they can strike up conversations with peers on the platforms, bridges and ramps of playground structures.
If we cant get help we may have to close the park for good.
Thank-you very much xx
The massive surge of support we just hit proves Greengate Lane is not something we are going to let them abandon. WREN can no longer pretend that this park is invisible while our kids are left with nowhere to go.

Fix the park. It is the only decent space for the local teens and kids.

My kids play here every single day. It would be a total nightmare if this place shut down for good.

The park is in such a state right now. Kids deserve a safe place to run around without getting hurt on rusted equipment.
