Comments: Its absurd for gay rights supporters to attack something they are fighting for, freedom of thought, freedom of speech and freedom to express oneself publicly without discrimination.

Comments: If we become the type of nation in which stating opinions that are considered to be wrong because they are "uncool" or "unpopular" are sufficient cause for the ruination of one's life, we are past the point of no return. Stop the madness now. Enough with the tactics of hatred and division.

Comments: I will be buying this comic BECAUSE DC Comics had the decency to include a conservative American writer on this project featuring the costumed superhero most beloved by conservative American comic-book fans. Hopefully the controversy and attempted bullying over this will help to make this anthology hugely successful. I'm sure that it is welcomed by all true fans of the original Superman (red undies ftw!).

Comments: I'm in the Dr. Ben Carson No PC camp. The ostensible reasons to get rid of Card or other defenders of faith & principled tradition obscure the real reason which is to destroy the foundations of our Republic & get rid of the competition of its prosperity and character. Identity vanity has fallen for this ruse, sad to say.

Comments: I've been reading DC comics since I was a kid in the 60s. I bet most of the artists and writers back then were not in favor of homosexuality. Did it make a difference in how they worked on DC comics? Of course not. Politics never entered into comics back then and we were richer for it. Now politics enters into all phases of life and I am sick of it. Kids need a place they can escape to without being bombarded with someone's political agenda. DC comics used to be that place. It was for me. Now I would never recommend them for my grandchildren. Leave Orson Scott Card alone to work for you as you know he will.

Comments: It seems that the LGBT community loves to bash people that don't share their beliefs, but they don't like it when they get bashed. According to them, if I don't agree, I'm a hater. So what are they if they don't agree with my beliefs???

Comments: I am a 66 year old lady who is intelligent, sensitive, loving and caring towards all of mankind, and a longtime fan of Superman. I believe we all are empowered by free will to make decisions for our life, along with accepting the responsibilities and consequences that come along with our choices; good, bad.or indifferent. However, when it comes to the practice of bouycotting an individual because of their free choice opinion as to homosexuality it has gone over the line of reason. To bouycott a person because of their personal opinion on sexual behavior is absolute reverse discrimination. PERIOD! Sexual choice is a very private matter and should be kept as such. It should be a bedroom decision behind closed doors, not a national debate. The problem is that it has it has turned into a 3 ring hollywood circus. The abusive language, public humiliation and intended punishments to those who don't side with the gay/lesbian efforts is outrageous at least. The onslaught of public speaking against anyone not in favor of the lifestyle is reaching the ridiculous stage. To me, it is double-stand, self-righteous, lopsided equality. Why should Mr Card's right to express free thought and opinion be publicly treated as inferior? Homosexuals have crusaded their "cause" to the point that if you don't support their lifestyle choices, you are counted as an enemy and should be punished with boutcotts. Our society has reached a place where those who have a conservative opiniions are treated as the enemy and maligned with all kinds of abuse. I'm sick of it. Even if I were not a christian, I would not believe in same-sex marriage or sex. So what? That IS MY RIGHT! There are millions who don't believe in God yet are not maligned as those who have conservative opinions. Don't think I am removed from complete knowledge of gay/lesbian lifestyles. My own mother, my dear son, (who died from AIDS thanks to a sexual partner who did not bother to tell him he had the disease until after they had sex. He gave my sweet, wonderfully kind son a death sentence!) a niece, a nephew, and my grand-daughter (who wants to become a grand-son) were/are homosexuals. That's a lot of experience from the inside speaking. Mr Card has every right in the world to believe as he chooses, and should not be punished for it.
