We, the undersigned, alumni of Darlington High School and former students, players, and friends of Mr. McArthur, would like to convey to the board of education how great an impact he has had on our lives. Many of us still live in or near the community of which he has been a vital part for decades, many of us are now flung far and wide, and many of us have never met for being so many years apart. But we speak as one in our support for Mr. McArthur, and urge the board to retain his invaluable service to the school, the town, and for the lives of all the more students he can help as he has done for us.
