Comments: the usefulness of a library goes beyond the loaning of books. They are at the centre of communities providing information and facilities. The proposed cuts would damage us all.

Comments: I strongly oppose the argument of "making budget savings by cutting front line services". This is not a question of either/or, instead I would like to point out that there are many other tools for balancing out the budget without directly affecting taxpayers' quality of life.

Comments: The library is an essential part of the Rhiwbina community. Every member pf my family uses this library several times a week. We all appreciate and value both it and the staff who look after the library.

Comments: I agree with the above comments, it would be detrimental to the community to reduce the opening hours of the Library.

Comments: The Public Library is an essential feature of any community benefitting all by making literature available to those who need it, the poor, the ill educated, those who would be educated. It also provides a space for other social needs, and is an essential source of public information. Of the few things we have in return for our "Rates" the Library is one we value.
