Name: ZOE BOWMAN on Feb 1, 2013Comments: This is an incredibly dangerous crossing. Even as a conscientious pedestrian (venturing across the junction 6 times per day en route to and from school), my children and I have had several near misses with cars speeding, not giving way and generally taking advantage of the absence of a responsible person manning the crossing. There will most certainly be an accident here within weeks.Flag

Name: Mary Norsworthy on Feb 1, 2013Comments: I know this junction well and feel it is very dangerous with cars coming fast down Sylvan Hill and Auckland Road. I also am angry that a few children should make life so miserable for Jenny that she has been forced to give up a job which she had so enjoyed. She should have received support from the council when the abuse first started.Flag

Name: Richard Steele on Feb 1, 2013Comments: There had been a lollipop lady here for at least 12 years so presumably there was a case for one then and the traffic can only have increased since! Plus the need to expand end local schools will mean even more kids walking or driving to school creating even bigger need,Flag
