Dear President Obama and Governor Chris Christie, Attending school is mandatory in our Country - and it should be. However, we parents want to make sure we are sending our children to a safe place. And this is YOUR responsibility to guarantee. My children are just as important to me as yours are to you. With that being said, we believe that our children MUST be protected by armed officers, just like your children are. We are tired of dropping them off at school with broken hearts as we don't know if that's going to be the last time we see them. This is not fair to our people. It seems that anyone is a target these days. Even children. Even people in movie theaters. So, this is what we believe is fair; this is what we, the people, want in every school in the Nation, PRIVATE or PUBLIC, immediately: - At least 2 armed police officers full time in every school - 1 officer responsible for keeping the buildings locked at all times and also in charge of controlling who enters the building - metal detectors in every entrance - to bullet proof all windows A concerned mom from NJ
