Whereas over the last five years, MSNBC has done a fine job of folding minority and working class voices into its lineup, there is still an often overlooked demographic missing from the national conversation-The Southern Progressive.

Whereas we may not make up what has historically been the foundation of the Democratic popular vote, it can no longer be denied that the Southern Progressive carries the critical burden of turning the tide of selfish greed, intolerance, and classless rhetoric now sewn into the American fabric.

Whereas our issues are unique and can not be co-copted by general conversation.

Whereas our numbers top 40,000,000

Whereas there is not one Southern American host in any lineup, all day.

And whereas we have historically been the most entertaining members of the Progressive voting bloc.

MSNBC, stop leaving so many advertising dollars on the table and hire one of our own to round out your lineup!
