We The People demand that the United States Federal Government stop hiding behind the claim that “smoked” cannabis is not medicine and prove that ingested cannabis cannabinoids have 0.00% possible medical application. Cannabis cannabinoids show great potential to not just mitigate symptoms, but to actually treat many forms of cancer, autoimmune, neurodegenerative, inflammatory, cardiovascular, mood/anxiety, and other diseases in the lab and in all animals they are tested on. In addition, they have an extraordinary safety profile. We demand a test in which a group of humans with a variety of diseases consumes concentrated cannabinoid-rich cannabis oil on a daily basis. Also have a control group with an equal variety of diseases consume placebo pills. We will examine the progress of the two groups over a 30-day period. If the cannabis oil is not more medicinal than placebo pills with statistical significance, then keep cannabis as a Schedule 1 drug and off limits to all Americans as a medicine. If it is does prove to be medicinal, then move it to a Schedule where scientists can properly research it and doctors can prescribe it to patients who desperately need it.
