How dare you try to ban an innovative technology, which is a promise of future prosperity for our beloved country, as well as the world.
As a staunch democrat who has never voted republican, this was extremely disappointing and embarassing.
Senator, you fail to recognize the true nature and potential of bitcoin. Spend 15 minutes on the internet and reevaluate your statement. There are folks out there who are setting up businesses that revolve around bitcoin. Because bitcoin is a new technology, these businesses are just starting, i. e. they have loans to pay, employees to hire, and mouths to feed. You want to talk about taking away from the American working class? Think about these hard working Americans.
Our representatives should be informed about economic issues before making extreme statements about them.
Weak an uninformed. To say bitcoin is used for illegal purchases amuses me. Of course it is. Just like United States Dollars. Better ban those too.
Please WV wake up and take a good look at this man!
