Name: Lise Murphy on Sep 22, 2005Comments: I have a dog who loves to play frisbee and the area below the tennis courts is perfect. I rarely see anyone using this area except for dog owners and their pet, who use and love the area very much. If not for us, I fear the area would not be used, or at best be underutilized. Why not let those of us who use and love this public place continue to do so Thank you from Lise and Shelby the dogFlag

Name: Martin Aller-stead on Sep 23, 2005Comments: we have 2 dogs. we also have grave concerns about the quality of water any and all dogs may be exposed to if present by-laws are followed. after taking three samples for testing, the City officials in public health contacted have refused to test the samples gathered, saying that, since the samples are not from water designated for human consumption, no testing is required. i am getting one hell of a run-around on this!Flag

Name: Julie Posluns on Sep 29, 2005Comments: At several toronto parks, offleash hours are unreasonable. For two months of the year non-dog owners are at the park. The rest of the time parks are barren. Dog owners are committed park attendees and we deserve the right to exercise our dogs.Flag

Name: Cheryl Mandel on Sep 29, 2005Comments: For the most part most dog owner's respect non-dog owner's rights at Winston Churchill Park and visa-versa. The existing off leash area at the park is unacceptable. I do not wish my dog to be in the swamp where he can catch numerous infections. He also requires a much larger area to run free then the existing area. I am sure all residents and users of the park can come to some mutual agreement.Flag
