| 1757 | Anonymous | We have visited this beautiful beach many times everytime we visit Jamaica - at least 16 times over the last 10 years and it would be shameful for this amazing place to go the same route that so many other beaches have gone. I urge the UDC to withdraw and applaud the efforts to save this sight for conservation. |

| 1785 | jenny eriksson | The first responsibility of the government of Jamaica is to care about its people and to fulfil their human rights which includes an obligation to make sure that any development occurring is in the best benefit of its people socioeconomically - NOT big businesses.
By preventing the Jamaican people from accessing their land AND by not making them the rightful stakeholders they are in the tourism industry, they are violating the human rights of the Jamaican people.
SHAME on Jamaican gov and SHAME on businesses for not taking their responsibilities not to be compliant in violations!!! |

| 1791 | Robert Quinton | All beaches in Jamaica should be public. Since so many have been made private its time to ensure that all those that remain stay public. |

| 1794 | John Goodin | All white sand beaches should remain public access! Hawaiian beaches are all public access and blend nicely with private development. Also public parks/beaches afford viewing vistas in periphery greater than the whole if their is political wisdom to see the bigger picture.
Literally, take a step back and see what you have and what is wanted! |
