| 1604 | Vonnie McGowan PhD | We need a little piece of our own Paradise to relax in our own habitat, we are too tired of the all inclusives that shuts out native people and cripple our local economy making the rich guys richer and providing foreign grown every thing to the tourist putting our local farmers and craftsmen, our cooks, our small buisnesses out of business.
Please hold on to that little bit that is left by mother nature. Winnifred that was even my mothers name Sve her.

| 1627 | Devan Spence | I heard your problem on Irie FM.
I am in total support with you. we are facing the same dilemna too. Bamboo Bay at Point ,Lucea is now sold to the Spaniards. Hotel Feista is now there. Just a few months ago security pulled gun on people tying to fish on the rocks! Can you imagine? This was placs we would go too catch crabs and fishes. |

| 1629 | Stefanie Sperling | When I visited Jamaica, I refused to attend any non-public beaches. I wanted to experience the REAL Jamaica. It is wrong to allow only foreigners and not locals on THEIR OWN beaches - unless they work there! Jamaican government should focus on making locals happier by addressing corruption and other problems such as education to give locals more jobs which would bring more tourists in and keep them coming back to improve the economy and fight crime - instead of selling out their own people for short-term greed! |

ALWAYS STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHT! |
| 1633 | Anonymous | Winnifred is one of the few remaining true community beaches in Jamaica, used by locals and tourists alike. as such, it should be highly valued, as an outstanding natural resource. |
| 1634 | Norma Williamson | Jamaicans whether they are still living on the Island or abroad should cherish their Jamaican heritage that was valiantly fought for, and it should not be given away for a few pieces of silver. All Jamaicans should get behind any campaign to keep the breaches of Jamaica public and not just for a selected few. |

| 1642 | Anonymous | Please preserve Winnifred Beach as a free public beach with no possibility of privatisation in the future...the people of Jamaica deserve this |
| 1643 | Antoinette Tidjani Alou | I definitely agree that these issues are important: the social factors, because the island belongs so little to the average Jamaican; the enviranmental issue becuase these are vital to the survival and well-being of human and other life, including that of our island and planet. |
| 1644 | Luther McKenzie | |
| 1645 | Michelle McNaughton | I sign this petition on the basis of making Winnifred Beach remain a public beach....I am from Kingston but have had the privilege of visiting this beach and it is beautiful and unique and would like for it to remain public so it can be utilized and discovered by any individual who wish to do so freely. |

| 1647 | Anonymous | Stop the male prostitution at Winnifred .Beach...Keep the family beach atmosphere....male tourist have it on their list as a place to pick up other men. Jamaican male prostitutes have set up shop there.....further development would increase this problem |
