Join in supporting Wayne Bovenschen for marching band director at Oklahoma State University. All we ask is that Oklahoma State consider Wayne Bovenschen for this position. He is over-qualified and would make extreme improvements.
Please give Wayne a fair chance. Not only has Wayne been assistant band director for 23 YEARS, he is extremely qualified. More so than anyone who may be coming in from another state. He would not be using this job as an addition to a resume, he would live for this job.
Wayne Bovenschen is Associate Professor of Percussion at Oklahoma State University. In this capacity, he instructs the Concert Percussion Ensemble, Marching Percussion Ensemble, studio lessons, percussion techniques class, assists with the Cowboy Marching Band, directs the OSU Spirit Bands and Men's and Women's basketball games, and co-sponsor of the Alpha Chapters of Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma.
