    Comments: Seeing Jim always puts a smile on my face. I've stopped and spoken with him many times - have even given him a ride or two. One time while being stalked on the highway, I pulled over where he was standing and the stalker kept on driving (after following me and passing me, and slowing down, etc. all the way from Charlottesville.) I feel like he was my guardian angel that day for sure! Please let him stay where he belongs.

    Comments: I drive through this area repeatedly every summer (as we vacation from Texas), and we LOVE the waving man! My kids and I look forward to seeing him, and we'll be heartbroken if he's not at his usual spot next summer. (He even blew us a kiss this summer, and we all squealed with delight.) His friendly presence really breaks up a long drive. Surely a compromise can be worked out...perhaps a guest house or mother-in-law apartment on the property After all, blood is blood...there's nothing more important than family.     Comments: Every day when I drove my son to baseball practice and games at Cove Creek Park, my entire family looked forward to seeing the "Waving Man". It was such a treat to stick our arms out the window to wave at him and see the immense joy that it brought to him to wave back. What an injustice to evict him and take away such a pleasurable and wonderful past time for him and and something so special and inspirational for everyone who passes by him.

He comes from the old school when a smile and wave could make someones day. As long as he's not indanger and not hurting anybody I don't see the harm. I tell you in this world some people are putting alot of energy into something, where there are a whole lot of more important things we should be working on. It seems to me that most of our elected officals forget about who elected them,and for what purpose.all they care about is their career and not SERVING.GOD SPEED AHEAD.
