City of Edinburgh Council is proposing to cut a third of the grant to the Water of Leith Conservation Trust. This proposed cut, of £8,500, is 0.01% of the City Council's budget next year but vital to the Trust. If the City Council had to replace the work done by the Trust it would cost much more than the grant given.
