Name: Anonymous on Aug 15, 2008Comments: Watchmen is an intricate and fascinating story. Cutting even the smallest amount of story is going to hurt the plot. Please, keep this at 3 hours to maintain maximum quality. Watchmen fans do not want a 2 and a half hour movie, we want a detailed and fleshed out story, just like the source material which we all love. You owe it to fans everywhere to create the highest quality of film possible. It's not just about money, but about art entertainment, and corporations like Warner Brothers need to realize that. Stand up to this atrocity! Watchmen fans unite.Flag

Name: Robbie Still on Aug 15, 2008Comments: I agree with this petition 110% and believe Watchmen is the greatest achievement in comic books and pop culture of all time; with such high praises from myself and the billions of other fans I demand that for the respect for us fans, everyone who has been working on this production, and dear ol' Alan Moore himself (if he ever comes around) for giving the far most perfect editing all of us deserve to see and experiance whether it be 3 hours or 5 hours for that matter. I expect this movie to be wonderful and anticipate that it lives up to the comic book's perfection in every way; that said, I agree to this petition and I request that anything and everything that needs to be done to make this movie pure AWESOMENESS should be taken to heart. Sincerely, Robbie Still, a Proud Member of the MinuteMenFlag

Name: Taylor Betz on Aug 15, 2008Comments: The graphic novel of Watchmen changed the way I see things, in hand, it's changed my life. It's offered me something I have never seen before in any form of media: perfection. Watchmen is perfect and to have the smallest bit taken out would lose the very thing I loved the most: details that effect the story. To do this as if it was any hero such as Iron Man is wrong. Don't change or take away anything from Watchmen because the average viewer can't live with the time. It must be 3 hours to be done right. Don't let the average viewer seeing it as a average superhero film: make it what Watchmen was in 1986: something fresh, something that wouldn't give into the casual demands. Make Watchmen what it should be, the original, the smart, the shocking, the brutal story that everyone should see it as. Don't mess up on it because this isn't like the Batman franchise where you can come back and fix your mistakes, this is something that your only getting one chance to do and if you do it wrong then you have not only failed the fans who have loved this story from the day they read it with a passion like non-other, but have also failed the very thing Watchmen is.Flag

Name: Michael Aronson on Aug 15, 2008Comments: I strongly believe that if people are willing to invest two hours and forty-five minutes into an epic story, then they too will watch a three hour film. The Watchmen needs to include each of the characters. No matter how minimal their screen time might be, each character is an essential piece of the puzzle. And Watchmen is one of those complicated Puzz 3Ds.Flag

Name: Steven Fitzgerald on Aug 15, 2008Comments: Make it as long as it needs to be to tell the story right, don't cut anything important just to make a shorter runtime. I never understood why people would pay $20 to watch a movie and then complain about it being too long, don't people like value in the things they spend their money onFlag

Name: Oliver L. Peckham on Aug 15, 2008Comments: Restricting Snyder's runtime is potentially one of the most disastrous decisions you could make for your entire 2009 lineup. Watchmen has gone to production hell and back - don't let the end product disappoint fans and viewers by diluting it.Flag

Get it right WB, you have something VERY special in your hands, don't miss it up. Let Zach make the best watchmen movie he can.Flag
