Comments: Seems to me that comic book compaines are VERY desperate for money nowadays. This would be a great idea.

Comments: the greatest comic series of all time- in fact, one of the greatest stories of all time- deserves to be released in a format that gives such a work of art the respect it deserves.

Comments: If they do not have the new material they wanted from Moore, they could just rerelease the older slipcase edition.

Comments: I realise that Alan Moore may not want this published but, the fans do want this and with all due respect to Alan I think its about time comic book readers got a quality hardcover version of one of the most remarkable fiction stories to be published in any medium. This, of course, does not mention V for Vendetta (criminally ignored and due for the slip-cased hardcover treatment), Maxwell the Magic Cat (a masterpiece), the Bojefferies Saga (don't get me started on this one) and A Small Killing (whose hardcover was limited to 1250).
