WA has been propping up the eastern states for years on end now. Just the other week the federal government announced the distribution of the GST funds and WA has received yet another cut in the order of some $220 million dollars. We now only receive roughly 7% of the funds despite having over 10% of the population...how is this fair? Its time WA seceeded from the rest of Australia, and turn ourselves from a cash cow for Canberra, into a prospering nation of our own.
