Name: Avinash Rao on Oct 16, 2001Country: INComments: What has happened on September 11 is one of the most heineous and coward act. Killing innocent civilians achieve nothing. Now it becomes even more important that strong measures need to be taken root out global terrorism. But i beieve this is a direct fallout american foreign policy during cold war period. During that time no body neither US nor its allies given a thought what will happen if you use these type of tactics to fight the enemy. America created supported, trained and financed these same terrorists to suit its goals of defeating Soviet Union. As long as they are killing Soviets everything was fine and these same people were friends of America. Unfortunately America is learning the lesson in a hard way. Now to fight Taliban they are giving support to the Northern alliance. I don't know what will they will if they come to power with the help of US. Who are going to control these thugs It is the short sightedness of american foreign policy and more important their policy of using any means and tactics to achieve their goals is the biggest problem for the world.Flag

Name: Adela Pisarevsky on Apr 27, 2002Country: USComments: The 6 or even 5,000 dead and many others injured and suffering other losses, DEMAND, that we treat terrorists like the assassins that they are. The reason we still are under terrorist threats is because of US being so delicate with them. Once they're caught they should be thrown to the electric chair IMMEDIATELY & WITHOUT TRIAL. Were WE on trial before they invaded the WTC's and committed the atrocious deedFlag
