STOP Mount Pleasant Library’s Current Expansion Plans... Put family’s lives first!

* The planned expansion of our Mount Pleasant Library will endanger the lives of as many as a thousand Ward One working-class families and individuals in case of a fire;
and,
* the plans limit safe and welcoming access to the library for seniors and neighbors with disabilities.

We, the undersigned, call upon Mayor Adrian Fenty and Councilmembers Jim Graham and Harry Thomas TO STOP this dangerous expansion and redevelop the plans accordingly.
