Put family’s lives first! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * The planned expansion of our Mount Pleasant Library will endanger the lives of as many as a thousand Ward One working-class families and individuals in case of a fire; and, * the plans limit safe and welcoming access to the library for seniors and neighbors with disabilities. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We, the undersigned, call upon Mayor Adrian Fenty and Councilmembers Jim Graham and Harry Thomas TO STOP this dangerous expansion and redevelop the plans accordingly.
