For those of you that are Warchild fans as I am, you will be appauled by this. Warchild has spent his career making his own music for us, so that no one could tell him what to do. He chose the Warchild name because of his indian heritage, which he had trademarked years ago. Now someone is trying to take his name from him. I will let Warchild tell you about it himself, in this bulletine he sent to his fans. \"I received a letter from a lawyer in N.Y.C. a few days ago threatening legal action over the use of my name. The name comes from my native american heritage and has always been the name I\'ve used all of my music career. It is trademarked by me but this could be a long(and expensive) legal process. The company they represent is using the name War Child (2 words) and uses various artist to sell records. They are not Warchild the singer which is me. Please help me save my name that preserves my heritage.\" Now we can help him by signing this petition to save his name. So please sign this not just for Warchild, but for the freedom of the small guy trying to make it. He legaly did everything right, and they are trying take his name away from him. If they do it to him, they can do it to anyone. Thats not what America is suppose to be. Please sign this to help stop the injustice, and tell everyone you know to sign as well. Once you sign the petition & click submit, it takes you to a donation page. This is NOT for Warchild, it is for iPetitions web site. You can feel free to just close this page out. Once you clicked submit, your name was added to the petition. Thank you very much, Dottie P3
