I was married in US on 2000 and separated in 2002. Have a child and raised the child on my own. Not a resident of the US but our marriage is not recognize in our country. I wanted to be set free and obtaining divorce in US is one of the challenge I am facing now as the states are requiring residency. My country does not approved the divorce either. My ex-husband agreed with the dissolution of our marriage but he is nowhere to be found right now. I feel like a prisoner in this situation. Off shore divorce is one of the option but still where I can find a right lawyer who can help me and guide me through. Please help.
