Walmart customers are asking Walmart Corporation to amend their current coupon policy to clearly set and define a corporate policy regarding the use of ad matching and coupon use combined. Currently, according to Walmart customer service, each store sets their own guidelines on whether they will allow customers to price match competitor ads AND use a coupon on the same item. This varies from store to store, manager to manager, cashier to cashier. As customers it's impossible to know what each day's policy is going to be as it's not clearly defined in black and white. Walmart decision makers: Why would you NOT allow us to price match and use a coupon on the same item? We COULD shop at the store with the original sale AND use our coupons if we choose to therefore maximizing our savings. If you will not allow us the same, there is no reason to shop with you. We ask you to make it CORPORATE policy to allow price matching paired with coupon use on the same item. Approve and put the new guideline in corporate policy. This will cut down on customer and cashier confusion and eliminate the ability of store managers to constantly change store policy.
