By signing below, I certify that I am opposed to the development of a San Diego "Walmart" in Barrio Logan/Sherman Heights at the old San Diego Farmer's Market building, on Imperial Avenue between 21st and 22nd streets.

I believe that the present local economy provides the community with the necessary financial and social support for balanced economic growth. I am convinced that any development of a "Walmart" will be significantly detriment to our community. In particular, the construction of this "Walmart" at this location will ultimately alter and damage this 1899 historic building.

Additionally, I believe that a "Walmart"  will add significant traffic congestion and may also increase the rate of crime in and around residential properties in Barrio Logan/Sherman Heights.
