I was walking past that old market building earlier today and it still just feels wrong to even imagine it covered in blue signage. People keep messaging me about the traffic on Imperial and it is clearly weighing on everyone because we already spend half our lives stuck in our cars on those streets. I am currently trying to track down the property records for that site since the historical aspect is just too important to lose to a big box store.

I was looking at the old market site earlier and honestly it just hit me how many people actually care about saving those historic bricks from becoming another giant box store. It is wild to see this much energy bubbling up because sometimes I feel like I am just shouting into the void while staring at that dusty facade on Imperial Avenue. Everything is moving so fast now and I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that our neighborhood is actually fighting back together.
