Comments: Wal-Mart mgmt. team has not considered the fact that in most instances I as well as others choose to go to wal-mart for fabric, crafts, groceries to get everything at one time. If you do away w/ fabric area, then I have no need to buy my groceries there. So then you are losing more then just a $20 fabric sale, you just lost $100+ for groceries too. Because I'm going to your competitors for groceries, b/c you illiminated getting multiple items at one location. Wal-Mart will be hurting thousands of small businesses & since the founder Mr. Walton started as a small business I find this decision a huge mistake. I own a small business that relies heavily on the fabric dept. & ribbon cut by the roll, if you take it away you will lose ALL of my business and my money will be going else where. PLEASE think twice before following through on this decision. Regards, A very unhappy small business woman & crafter

Comments: I buy almost ALL my craft supplies from Wal-Mart. I'd hate to see it go away. I spend hundreds of dollars a year in that department alone at Wal-Mart and would be spending far more elsewhere and the convenience wouldn't be there. I LOVE my Wal-Mart craft section and don't want it to leave

Comments: It would be a real shame if the fabric/crafts department in my local Wal-Marts were to close. I make and sell clothing and purchase many of my supplies from your store. Shopping elsewhere would greatly increase my costs. I truly hope your company will reconsider their options.

Comments: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't close the craft and fabric departments!!!! I have three young children, and I do ALL of my shopping at WalMart rather than the JoAnn Fabrics, K-Mart and Publix that are literally 2 minutes from my house because I can get ALL the things I need in ONE place. If there is no more fabric dept, I'll just have to stay closer to home and get everything in three places. I like WalMart, but not enough to drive an extra 15 minutes when I still will have to go somewhere else for my weekly fabric needs. Thanks for your consideration!

Comments: I depend on the fabric and crafts department at Walmart the nearest Joann fabrics is over 20 miles away and since I am always looking for new looks in fabric I shop at Walmart for these items. I am a seamstress & quilter and I stop weekly for thread and to buy fabric---please do not remove the fabric and craft sections from your stores.

Comments: please do not close the fabric dept. That is the reason many of us who sew and craft go to Wal-mart because you have sold good quality at a good price. We may have to find other stores to shop is and that means far less trips to Wal-mart and less purchasing at the local Wal-mart as well.

Comments: I have a hard time understanding why Walmart would do away with the craft and fabric department. As others have stated, that is one of the only reasons I shop at walmart... to get everything at one place. I also live in a small town where that is the only place we can get fabrics and craft supplies. I really hope they dont close it out!
