Name: Steven Heynes on Oct 23, 2012Comments: I used the centre in 2007 in desperate need of help with depression over the Easter holiday - my surgery closed for the holidays! Illnesses don't have holidays....or weekends! When will the NHS wake up and understand this very simple fact of life. My life was saved that Easter by a very lovely lady doctor at the Solihull walk-in centre at the hospital. I would most probably have committed suicide without the centre's help. I went to A&E the day before only to find that they just don't get mental issues - not a clue!Flag

Name: Deborah Hope on Oct 24, 2012Comments: The centre has provided professional and friendly medical care for 3 generations of my family. As a local employer, I can also send any employees with a health problem there, thus reducing absenteeism from work. I have moved my whole family to be registered at the WIC as I have been so impressed.Flag

Had I not been able to use the walk-in centre over the weekend for my daughter I would have had to use the badger service or a & e.Flag

Name: Mrs C Arnsby on Oct 26, 2012Comments: The walk in centre has saved my husband's life twice, when our GP wrongly diagnosed his condition. The first time it was a burst appendix and the second time it was advanced cancer. We are definitely not happy about losing the Walk in Centre! Since the PCT took over and linked us with Heartlands, Solihull has already lost it A&E. If the NHS has its way we'd all be dead before we could receive life-saving treatment - is that how they intend to reduce the budget enough to fund the treatment the EU dictate we must now give to all foreigners, from the moment they set foot on British soil?!!Flag

I?m just starting out in cumomnity management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it?s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in that caseFlag

Name: Corrall on Jan 13, 2013Comments: My husband and I have found this service to be of excellent help and convenience. We have used the Walk-in-Centre a number of times and strongly feel that all the hard work and the dedication that the GPs undertook to get this startedwould be such a waste to our local area if solihull was to loose this service. It is excellent and vital for us and our area....Flag
