Comments: We have used the service on a couple of occasions and hold it in very high regard. In particular the way in which a suspected deep vein thrombosis was dealt with was excellent with close liaison with the hospital. Value for money very clearly demonstrated. We cannot understand how there can be any suggestion that the service provided should be terminated.

Comments: The walk in centre is a real asset to Solihull taking pressure off A and E and providing a more flexible approach to GP services. It is reassuring to have a service that is accessible throughout the day and early evening rather than having to rely on an appointment system that requires all patients to try and ring at the same time every morning to request an appointment for that day only.

Comments: This was a life saver for us one Saturday evening when my nine year old's 'chesty cough' was diagnosed as pneumonia there. We would never have gone to A & E, not realising the seriousness of it.

Comments: This is an important service to the people of Solihull that should not be closed or curtailed. It should easily be seen that If closed there will be a higher cost as people go to A & E instead.

Comments: This facility is worth every penny when it is helping people and saving Solihull A&E for the real emergencies! We know someone whose life was saved by being able to go the walk-in centre. I suppose these people will want to shut the whole of Solihull hospital down next! The people of Solihull, which is expanding all the time need our faciltiies!

Comments: Please do not close the Walk-in Centre at Solihull Hospital. This is a vital service for the people of Solihull. I also think it is essential to re-charge for the people who cross our borders to maintain the monies required to keep the service going.

Comments: I have used the Solihull Walk in Centre on three occasions recently and have been so impressed with the professionalism, care and convenience of the service. I visited on a Sunday and a Bank Holiday when my GP surgery was closed and it would not have been appropriate to visit A and E for my treatment. I do hope that this invaluable service remains open. Thank you.

Comments: I have been a registered patient at the walk-in centre for 2 years now and cannot praise the doctor`s and staff highly enough for the excellent service they provide for both myself and, I am sure, the rest of the patients they treat there, which takes the pressure off the A&E at Solihull Hospital.

Comments: Why is it that the members of the CCG (whatever and whoever they are ) have to decide the fate of this wonderful service, surely the figures speak for themselves that there is a need for such a service which also helps to aleviate waiting times in the A& E department at Solihull
