I think it is time for the American people to set the wage scale for our congress people. They should get payed based on the performance they proved us. The starting salary for a House Rep, and a Senator is 174,000. I propose a reduction in salary to 90,000 to start and then if they get reelected based on performance thier salary will go up. I feel they make alot of money and really what do they do for the American people. This would also help lower the National debt that they all seem to be so worried about. Please support this petition I feel it is time for the American public to control how much our congress people make. Why should they be able to vote for thier own raise when they work for us.
