I am a student from the Bulmershe School and I am creating this campaign on behalf of my GCSE Citizenship campaigning group. As part of our GSCE Citizenship course, we are required to set up our own campaign on an issue we feel strongly about. I decided to choose the lowering of the legal voting age. The reason I decided to revolve my campaign around this particular issue is because I know there are under eighteens out there who feel just as passionate as I do and want their voice heard. I feel that the higher understanding of young people today should be promoted and appreciated. We hope that we can rely on the signatures of the public as this could really boost the confidence of our campaign. We have been put in a difficult position as there is only two of us so we need all the help we can get! We would like to be pointed in the right direction as to what else we can do to help the teenagers who dont have the privilege to vote.
