My petion is about trying to get the voting age lowerd in the uk from 18 to 16. Me and 3 of my friends are working at trying to get more people to agree with our petion to get the voting age lowerd as it is important that we get a say in how the country is run.We belive that 16 year olds are mature enough to understand about politics as we are taught from year 7 upwards, We belive that 16 year olds are mature enough to vote and to be sensible about it. people belive that 16 year olds would rather be out clumbing and if they did vote they would all vote for a party for a lugh or because there friends voted for them, But not all 16 year olds are like that we are just as resonsible as a 18 year old. At the age of 16 we can get a job and have a babby and pay tax all of these come with great responcibilities but we still get no say in the country. So i have created this petion trying to get young people on our side to get the voting age lowerd. [ please join :) ]
