Comments: CPS is a worthless office set out to destroy more lives than they claim to help. They WON't do their jobs when needed and trample the rights of our citizens when not needed.

Comments: False allegations stated to the CPS gives that agency enormous powers to do just as stated; guilty until proven innocent. Meanwhile, the accused suffers at the hand of these corrupt people. After the damage has been done, it is up to the accused to prove their innocence. Shouldn't it be the other way around according to our constitution

Comments: It appears to me and seems very clear now after the FLDS Armed raid based on a Hoax Phone call that CPS has way too much power and feel they are above the law. I also feel that Gov Perry has his own agenda and is using CPS and its almost unlimited power to persecute others for thier beliefs. It is scary that this can happen in the US today. Over 400 Children were abused.. by the state! as I certainly consider Kidnapping from parents abuse and these children will be tramitized for life as they recall the armed raid, kidnapping and being locked away from thier parent for nearly two months. The Judge needs to go and so does Perry and CPS as they all clearly feel they are above the law and have no need to follow the law or the Constitution.

Comments: Rick Perry suggested these FLDS members leave Texas. The judge ordered them not to leave Texas. Much bad publicity has been brought to our state due to horribly wrong governmental decisions. Let's post it in a lot o places where it will be seen.

Comments: It is in your "Best interest" to rid this vermin from your midst, they have been the tool that allows children to be murdered, raped, abused and destroyed in order to "Protect" them from you. The next home being raided could easily be yours if your neighbor doesn't like the length of your grass.

Comments: CPS is one of many unconstitutional administrative agencies that needs to be abolished. It took these 400+ children being abducted to hopefully awaken all in this nation to the fascist gov. that has sneaked in while we slept. Shame on us.

Comments: In January 2006, my middle daughter (then 19), told neighbors that she was molested with power tools, beaten with crow bars and burned alive. This all supposedly took place between the ages of 8 to 16 years. My husband was arrested but subsequently released on bond. CPS took my 2 youngest from me without a warrant or an investigation. Do you have any idea WHAT it feels like to have a child taken away for NO reason Can you imagine the pain and anguish that comes in unrelenting waves as you try to figure out WHY this is happening The case dragged on with this daughter feeding CPS all kinds of lies. She perjured herself multiple times during our trial but there were NO consequences. There were NO consequences when she failed to show up for the final day of trial, even though she was under a subpoena. In May 2007 our CPS trial began in Lockhart. Their “evidence” consisted of hearsay and e-mails allegedly authored by my 19 year old daughter. Constitutional violations were rampant throughout this ordeal. The Guardian Ad Litem testified that it wasn’t safe for my youngest daughter (16) to return home “(even if the father were removed)” because she would “suffer thru abuse rather than report it”—“even if she continued going to public school because when she got back home, her mother would deprogram her.” WHAT abuse “DEPROGRAM” Does CPS normally “deprogram” it’s victims by telling them- “your mother doesn’t love you”, “she abandoned you”, “your mother chose her husband over you”, “it’s all because of your parents that you are here in this emergency shelter now”, “your parents aren’t cooperating, it’s not our fault you are here”, “why don’t you pray to your God—see if He will answer your prayers and get you out of this place.” My daughter remains in foster care against her will and despite her telling these people that she was never abused and just wants to return home. It doesn't matter how many times you tell CPS there was no abuse, they just tell you that you are in "denial" and "not cooperating". She has not been allowed to see her brothers and sisters since their visits were cut off in February 2007. No phone calls were ever permitted and still are not to this day. My husband is not allowed to have a visit with her because he refuses to take sex offender therapy. He refuses to take it because he is not a sex offender. There are no criminal charges against him. CPS has gone above and beyond to punish us.

Comments: ------------------------------------------------------- This was a disgrace how CPS did these families. CPS is lucky this didn't turn into a bloodbath. This shameful State owes these families! They owe them for every penny and more spent to get their children back; from gasoline, wear and tear on vehicles, motels, to the tremendous pain and suffering imposed, and everything else in between. And still the harm cannot be corrected. How do you correct taking children from a very wholesome environment and throwing them into a world of vuglar television, immodest dressing, and poisonous diets An apology Forget that! Even after the highest court in our land said CPS was WRONG, they want to keep a heavy hand on these families. This is another example of the TYRANNY this STATE imposes on it's people. Change is very past due!!!

Comments: CPS actions that I have seen and heard about would actually discourage me from calling about possible child abuse if I suspected it. I don't like to see citizens treated guilty until proven innocent on any whim of report. The CPS is not GOD, but they appear to think they are - all knowing and all powerful. What a mockery and waste of tax-payer dollars!

Comments: I had a run in withe the Lockhart CPS officers after my daughter came back to live with me after her Father died and she requested it. Her Father got custody by Judge Gilford Jones in Burnet County who had ex - parta communications without my attorney present or without any chance of rebuttal from my side. As a result my daughter returned to me at 16 yrs of age and a drug addict. With permiscuis behavior which as time has gone on I've found out that her Father permitted under his roof. Because her Father had more money and his attorney was the county attorney, Robert Kleiger I was dismissed as not a fit parent. When my daughter attacked me twice she reported it with the help of her Father's girlfriend and a attorney Henry Bell. The first time I just took the attack and warned her that if if there was a repeat that I would press charges againist her which I did the second time it happened. I agreed to go along with the the CPS plan for reunitings us as a family but I was well aware that being disabled and with my attorney not being notified for any of the CPS meetings that the decks were stacked againist me. Since then she went into Foster Care which I am sure was a good home and that her Foster Mother did wonderful things to help her but her underlying anger for the situation was directed at me and so the CPS officials beklieved i was the issue. Since then she has graduated and gone off to her college of choice and was arrested on drug charges during spring break. Guess CPS didn't do such a hot job helping her as I had her in counseling and drug free while in my home.

Comments: I totally agree with doing away with CPS. We and our children have experienced terrorism from them. If there isn't enough abuse to support them (financially) they'll create abuse, and sell your children. This is nothing more than a child sales organization.
