Name: Fiona Tan on Aug 20, 2010Comments: Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, stop giving excuses that such "glitches" are unavoidable in major events. Do you consider a mass food poisoning outbreak involving 26 people as a minor "glitch"? Or children forced to stand in the rain to welcome your YOG torch rally a "glitch" too? The only decent thing left for you now is to apologize to all the volunteers, their parents and Singaporeans publicly for all their sufferings, pain and hardships they have to go through because of the YOG. You could have adopted a more conciliatory and reasonable approach, but you choose to be high-handed and treat our children like dirt. Please don't forget that every single cent of your million dollar salary comes from the people. If you have no intention or aptitude to serve them, then please resign as a minister and return to the private sector.Flag

No news on what the development on the YOG is. It's like you are publishing a game without telling the fans about what is it about.Flag

Name: Abdul Malik on Aug 20, 2010Comments: To arms, comrades! We must show the PAP regime that they must stand accountable for everything they have done. Let's start with this YOG. I salute and applaud our fine athletes and volunteers. They are the real heroes of the YOG. But the fact remains. Vivian Balakrishnan MUST answer to the public concerns. He is accountable, and he must suffer whatever the consequences may be.Flag

If you went thru the army, you should understand that the men will never be reprimanded, only the section leader. If you made a mistake, just admit it. Be a man. If not, i'm sure you will suffer during the elections~ Really.Flag

Name: Alfred Lee on Aug 20, 2010Comments: There can be no excuse for providing poor food for our volunteers. They are the backbone of this very event, and they deserve better. Did you even allocate enough money for their meals? Please do not take them for granted. Most of them are students who have given up their studying time to support your event.Flag

PAP has not given us any sense of security about our future re these issues... don't offer us the perfume of roses when we don't even have the "soil to grow our veg/potatoes/have chucks running around for food"....go back to speak to your big BOSS, to recalibrate your economic formula... having foreigners fleecing on us, and PAP overtaxing our asets/income.. is causing us to be burnt both ends... you burn our bridge of survival, we will burn your boots to walk on... go look for another pair of BOOTS in CHINA, see whether communist China will care for you that much.. Tell your BOSS this!!!Flag
