I am in favor of the City of Saint Joseph, Michigan developing a means by which people can attend city meetings via video conference. Many people affected by the decisions made by the various commissions cannot physically attend these meetings; these same people are able to "attend" via video conference (using their computers and Internet connnection). The technology is available to make such participation (viewing, hearing, and commenting) a reality, at a minimal cost.
