    Comments: No Halloween This has got to be the funniest thing I've heard of, I mean please. You still get your Christmas and Easter celebrations in the schools. What holiday will you try and take away next, Thanksgiving The only thing being worshiped on Halloween is a bag of candy for most kids in this country. So if you don't believe in it thats fine, don't send your kids out. Just don't ruin it all for the rest of the kids and families that celebrate this holiday. I'm sure you think anyone that does celebrate this holiday is anti-God but that is not the case. I thought Christ taught you to be tolerant and understanding of your fellow man, and to "Love thy Neighbor". Will your true colors as Christians is showing yet again, your Lord Jesus would be so proud of you all.

    Comments: Im am a 16 year old student that has been raised in the catholic school education system my entire life. Your petition is rediculus. Why would halloween celebrations like ghosts and harry potter ever take away from kids religion. Halloween is what being a kid is all about because they get to have fun wearing costums, and trick or treating to get candy. And it wont matter if they get to do this in school because they will get to do it out of school. (I just hope your not the terrible kind of parent that doesnt let their kids wear costums and trick or treat on halloween!) To me it just sounds like you are mad and jealous that prayers and the ten commandments were taken out of schools and this entire thing isn't even about halloween. If you are truely christian, you go to church on sundays to learn about the ten commandments and praying.

    Comments: wha the heck is wrong with you people i'm a preachers granddaughter, and i have been a christain since i was 7.. and i still celebrate on halloween.. there is nothing evil about it, unless you make it... in fact my grandfathers chuch has a party for the children on halloween where they can dress up and come to thee church to celebrate... i have dressed up as gypsies, witches, different celebrities, ect and i dont find anything wrong with it.. and neither does my family.. halloween is a day for children to dress up as something they are not and to eat as much candy as they possibally can... for all of you out there who think it is band, seriously take a good looko around you on halloween... all of the kids around you are sweet, innosent 5 year olds wanting candy... not devil worshipers.... teenagers go to parties with their friends and try to scare each other.. they don't go off and try and do magic... seriously rethink this "no halloween" deal... it's not as bad as you think..

This petition is the most stupidest one I've seen yet. xD Halloween is a fun holiday in which to dress up as your favorite character and walk around the neighborhood saying "Trick or treat" in order to gain candy. Schools have Haloween dances and everyone has a blast, especially the people dressed up. I'm Catholic and I don't see what the big deal is o-o I celebrate halloween every year, even though I'm in college, I still say you shouldn't let the LITTLE INNOCENT CHILDREN have no Halloween Celebration. D: In Short, I support Halloween Celebrations in Public Schools. :3 Shoot me.

If you people cannot see that we are truly in the end days then you my friends have been truly blinded. Satan himself has come as an angel of light. Making things appear harmless, and fun. When people refuse to obey the bible or the word of God, then the Lord eventually turns them over to their own desires and sends them a strong delusion to believe a lie. Halloween, wicca, harry potter, come on people, you are not stupid. I am sure you are quite aware that these are not actions the apostles were taking in the times of Jesus. Surely you cannot say that you don't think that there is another realm at work in this world. You honestly can't say that life is only what you see with your natural eye The spiritual realm is at work as well. Or else why would so many profess to have faith Well if you believe that there is another realm at work in this life you live then you have to understand that when you participate in certain things doors in that realm can be opened. When those doors are opened spirits can and will enter in. What a coincidence that children are so easily swayed when it comes to spirituality, and halloween targets children, harry potter targets children, witchcraft or wicca targets children. Think about it people. Music can open doors. Now think about you teenager and how into music he or she is. I will go on to say that satan was not created as satan, he was an angelic being named lucifer. He was in charge of the music in heaven and he ushered in the presence of the Lord. His musical abilities were grand and they were never taken from him when he was banished from heaven. Now think about the influence of music on our young people today. Hopefully you can see my point. Deuteronomy chapter 18 verses 10-12 says this: There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination ( which is fore telling the future), or an observer of times, or an enchanter(which is a sorcerer, as in harry potter),or a witch(sorry to the wiccans), or a charmer(which is the use of magic), or a consulter with familiar spirits(which is trying to make contact with the dead like what a phsycic would do), or a wizard(which is one devoted to black art), or a necromancer(which again is a sorcerer or magician that uses black magic). For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: Now the word abomination means loathing or extreme distaste. So any participation in these things gives the Lord a distaste for us. We also know that the Lord is never changing so what is an abomination in the old testament is always an abomination. In the book of revelation in says that no abomination shall enter the kingdom of God. Do you really want to chance it buy something silly like halloween Are you gonna take your candy to heaven with you, or maybe your witch costume Not hardly. Nothing is worth burning in a lake of fire in my book. My main goal in this life is where I spend my eternal life.
