Name: Joe La Spina on Dec 11, 2007Comments: This State government has failed to deliver again. Mr Rann has a hidden agender that prevents him from challenging the ACC. Instead it has allowed a small minority to defeat a land mark project for all South Australians. We need economic development to move forward in this state, and NOT be dictated by a few selfish people that lack vision for this state.Flag

Name: Richard Daehn on Dec 11, 2007Comments: Adelaide cannot afford to stand still and continue to be an insular looking city with a preservation mentality. If we are to prosper and become more competitive at attracting events and even new citizens we have to change our negative mentallity. One way to do this, is to support the Victoria Park re-development.Flag

Name: Ash Bennett on Dec 12, 2007Comments: Victoria Park has so much potential to be a world class multi-use sporting facility, it would be a major disapointment not to see this dilapidated space not achieve its full potential. Adelaide's parklands gives us a unique advantage to hold motorsport and horse events alongside the CBD, lets grab this advantage and run with it!Flag

Name: Andre Haidar on Dec 12, 2007Comments: I think that this is ridiculous! there are numerous fantastic initiatives put forward to progress Adelaide as a city, however we keep getting held back by the old, narrow mind people who are too so conservative that they are destroying Adelaide's potential. The Victoria grand stand is a great idea, along with others like cafe's/restaurants along the torrens and increase the city building heights! You have my full support.Flag

Name: Paul Smith on Dec 12, 2007Comments: I couldn't agree more with the above statement. Adelaide is fast falling behind all of the other major cities in this Country. I for one are sick of Adelaide being the laughing stock and the butt of all jokes in Australia. This is our chance to show the country that we are progressing as a state and that we are more than capable of hosting major events in Adelaide.Flag

Name: Chris G on Dec 12, 2007Comments: Makes me sick in the guts just thinking about this ongoing debacle. It's time for Adelaide to catch up with the other state capitals, in providing modern and large facilities for some of our major events, without the old-timers trying to keep us ultra-conservative (and sometimes a laughing stock in general). And hopefully it happens much sooner than later.Flag
