Because Southern Georgian Bay is one of the busiest recreational boating areas in the world and because there have been several instances where boaters in distress have been unable to contact the Coast Guard for assitance via VHF Radio, we would like the Canadian Coast Guard and the Canadian Department of Fisheries and Oceans to install a VHF repeater in Penetanguishene forthwith.
