Dear PRIME MINISTER 1. We the undersigned want veterinary fees regulated by the department of Trade. 2. We want all animals that require overnight or out-of-hours hospitalisation at any veterinary surgery to be continuously monitored by qualified staff and for owners/ family to be allowed access to their pet at any time during the period of hospitalisation. 3. The profession must be responsible for ensuring that every veterinary practice meets acceptable standards. As consumers we pay into a multi-million pound industry and yet we and our animals have no rights or recourse. Therefore we want a completely impartial body to deal with veterinary negligence and misconduct. Read the following story from one ex-vet: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1232217/Why-Im-ashamed-vet-shocking-expose-profession-puts-pets-painful-unnecessary-treatments-fleece-trusting-owners.html
The emails I receive from owners struggling with these costs and policies are heavy to hold. I am still working to get the right people to acknowledge these gaps in accountability. It is a long process but the stories you keep sending me confirm that we cannot back down.

My dog was also killed by a vet! He endured an excruciating painful death. I am fighting to get malpractice regulated in the states! Please join my FB pages Thors Law, Thors memorial, Pets Murdered By Vets, or Vet Malpractice Laws for USA! We need to stand up & not tolerate this level of error!

Finally someone doing something about this. I spent 4k on unnecessary tests for my rabbit and they still couldn't tell me what was wrong. Need better laws.

Vets charge an absolute fortune and then refuse to take responsibility when they mess up. It is a total racket and we are just the ones paying for it.

I was denied access to my dog during his last hours and it haunts me everyday. No one should have to go through that. Keep fighting for our pets.

My cat died alone in a cage because they wouldnt let me see him overnight. It absolutely breaks my heart thinking about him scared and by himself. Things need to change now.

TOTAL SCAM. My dog was fine when I dropped him off and never came home. The vet just shrugged it off like it was nothing. Disgusting.
