Name: Raymond Reichgeld on Jul 7, 2012Comments: I dont think is right that you locked a phone thats has alway's been unlocked from the factory. Android is a open source community based on linux operating system that has laws to keep it open sourced, that why i choose to like and love android. I have the option to run my phone as custom as i want it. But since you locked the bootloader this option is not available. It makes me wonder how many more phones you release in the future that will be locked. I dont have verizon as my provider right now but i definitely wont in the future because of you locking down android phones much like apple has with the iphone. But if you change you methods i will consider because verizon is a great provider. Until then im staying where im at and anybody i know will be diverted from verizon because i will give a bad referenceFlag

Name: Ronald Parker on Jul 7, 2012Comments: I've lived with a locked down Droid X which thanks to the development community has gotten a bit of an extension on it's life and is even rocking Ice Cream Sandwich. I got the S3 so that I could have a very powerful phone that won't reach end of life so quickly. I will very quickly return the S3 in favor of the Galaxy Nexus if this isn't sorted out.Flag

If I pay 600-800 dollars for a phone off contract I want to be able to use it whatever way I want. It doesn't hurt your network to unlock the boot loader justify it however you want all your other competitors don't do it like you.Flag
