Friends of Venice Hedges and Fences!

The petition

Dear Councilman Rosendahl,

WE, the undersigned Venice property owners and residents, believe that existing fences and hedges should be allowed to remain as they are.

We believe that residents should make our own choices with regard to safety, privacy, and how we choose to express our neighborliness.

Forcing residents to remove our hedges and fences is a misguided approach to community-building.

We hope you can work with the citizens of Venice, to find a way to permit or grandfather existing fences.
