Name: Robert Bryer on Feb 23, 2009Comments: Everyone rides a bike at some point in their life. Why do we have so much money to build huge facilities for over paid, macho atheletes to play in where we have spend huge somes to just watch when our own governments are encouraging participation. Hundreds of people would get involved in this sport for both participation and to watch their friends and family. Come on, get with it council, build a city for the folks who live here!Flag

Name: Donald G. Smith on Mar 1, 2009Comments: an indoor olympic size track would be a huge asset- both to develop elite riders, but also for recreational riders as well (eg:Forest City Velodrome). In the infield, there could be BMX, volleyball, gym etc, making it a multi-use facility.Flag

Name: John Hunt on Mar 1, 2009Comments: This would be a great venue for the the city of Hamilton to take on. Just think of all the pro & semi pro cyclists from surrounding areas that train down in the United States during the winter month due to the fact that they have NO place around here to train. Why not keep them here. They can even race there at the same time and bring money back to the city to off set the cost of the building over time.Flag
