ive been reading through your stories and its honestly heartbreaking to see how many people were tricked by these guys. im currently gathering all the info youve sent in to see how we can push back against these tactics together.

the momentum behind this is honestly wild and shows just how many people were impacted by these tactics. seeing everyone come together like this makes me feel like we finally have a real path to getting some answers.

The Velas employees lied to us, made promises that never were fulfilled. They are only interested in selling you a worthless timeshare and nothing promised by their employees ever came true. Contacted Velas Resort numerous times, they refuse to do anything about it but keep your money. A horrible resort, stay away from them.
Never saw any dividends. they just took my deposit and stopped answering my emails.
total scam. they promised us dividend checks that never arrived. stay away from these people.
WE HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN. they forced us to sign that paper right away and would not let us leave until we did. worst vacation ever.
The sales team at Velas are crooks. They told me it was an investment property. Turns out it is just a money pit and I cant even book a room when I want.
