Allow VBAC'ers at N. Fulton to labor in water!

The petition

We, the mothers, mothers-to-be, and concerned members of the metropolitan Atlanta community, petition the Maternity Services department at North Fulton Regional Hospital to allow women desiring Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) to use the hydrotherapy tubs in the Labor and Delivery rooms.

Laboring in the water is an important pain coping technique for many women, and the use of telemetry for fetal monitoring should ensure that it can be done just as safely as laboring elsewhere.

North Fulton is widely known as a hospital friendly to women desiring natural birth and VBAC. Please continue to support these ideals by allowing VBAC mothers the same access to safe, effective pain relief as other expectant mothers have.
