Dear Dog Owners, Our little and big pet creatures are in desperate need of a dog park in the downtown Vancouver area (Crosstown/False creek/Science World area) Real Facts: - There are about 50,000 dogs in Vancouver. - 4 off-leash dog parks in the area (with limited time restrictions) That is 1 park for 1,428 dogs! The City of Vancouver is estimated to pocket $647,000 minimum in dog licences per year. Not counting the fines ($250). Let's take action and ask the City to provide us with our own neighbourhood dog park. Please spread the word out and sign the online petition today.
