   Comments: When ever I park in a designated parking location, automobile users get upset and try to inside the parking location that I am paying for. (For example, metered on-street parking where I pay for parking yet unknown automobile motorists park in the space i am paying for without asking me if they can share the space.)

   Comments: As a commuter from Squamish to Vancouver, I am looking at getting a motorbike instead of driving a car. Less gas, less pollution, one less car and one less parking spot taken. Would be nice to be able to park in "dead zones" and triangles for free.

    Comments: You can easily fit 12 bikes into 1 metered car space. Bikes are High Occupancy Vehicles in terms of traffic flow, and many are in fact Ultra Low Emissions Vehicles. Bikes are an envronmentally friendly form of alternate transportation that is available right now. Why wouldn't the city provide free parking Similiar provisions should be made for smart cars that can 'back in' to the kerb.

    Comments: Last year (2004) I rode my motorcycle to work many times as I could park on Everleigh behind Bentall mall where I saw up to 14 bikes parked daily (week days). This year I rode to work once as I heard bikes were being towed and it was not safe to park where I parked last year. It is time something was done about the parking in downtown Vancouver so more commuters would ride instead of drive to work!

    Comments: Please permit motorcyclists to park in any location that does not block traffic, emergency vehicles and so forth. Motorcycles take up less space, use less gas, and not all motorcyclists have loud machines. Most motorcyclists are respectful of others!
