Please consider the parking system our City has freely adopted in regards motorcycle parking. It allows unused street spaces to be used in a meaningful deliberate manner by bikers.
I personally deplore the total lack of Motorcycle parking in Vancouver,with no secure spots in any area of the City.
Private sites should also be required to have minimal spaces allocated for bike use, ie Libraries,Malls,and major office buildings as part of the by law designated parking for vehicles.This is an enlightend approach and reflects what is being employed in world class cities.

I also suggest that vehicle Insurers like ICBC take a consideration of the square area of the vehicle, rather what friggin make it is, and if need be combine the two factors....
