Good luck vancouver in the quest for the olympics. As a person who has been to a few, they're the most unifying event to bring a city, province and country together. Ask the people of Calgary, they'd have it again in a minute.

Comments: I "strongly"believe we shoud host the 2010 Olympic games in Vancouver. It will certainly promote our economy! People who oppose to them, I hope they can soon realize that it will benefit the economy as a whole. I know health care and other issues are important but if the government are not improving it yet why not find ways where the govt is trying to improve and that is our economy.(ie, Expo 86 was a great success) and I have confidence that the Olympic 2010 games will be the same!

It is not only immoral to use funds that could be better spent on debt reduction or replacing some of our failing infrastructure but also totally irresponsible. I HIGHLY RESENT paying increasing direct and indirect taxes to support an extravagant party while the quality of life for all but the wealthiest of this country deteriorates by the day.
