Comments: Funding to any project is at the will of the people, via the government when they listen! The people of Vancouver have spoken... no more sour grapes. Deal with it. Good luck vancouver in the quest for the olympics. As a person who has been to a few, they're the most unifying event to bring a city, province and country together. Ask the people of Calgary, they'd have it again in a minute.

Comments: I "strongly"believe we shoud host the 2010 Olympic games in Vancouver. It will certainly promote our economy! People who oppose to them, I hope they can soon realize that it will benefit the economy as a whole. I know health care and other issues are important but if the government are not improving it yet why not find ways where the govt is trying to improve and that is our economy.(ie, Expo 86 was a great success) and I have confidence that the Olympic 2010 games will be the same!

Comments: Vancouver Olympics 2010 is a great opportunity for British Columbia, Canada. its true that the government finances are in dificit but still we can go for it. While the olympic will start, we'd have more percents of tourism who will come back again. its good for tourism industry and economy. thanks.

Comments: Even though the 2010 olympics may generate economic growth, how will we live with the constant effects from it Shouldn't the public get to have a stronger say about it Why should it be the government's decision when the public will eventually have to pay for their decisions due to their stupidity

Comments: We have hug debts in B.C. and Canada. It is not only immoral to use funds that could be better spent on debt reduction or replacing some of our failing infrastructure but also totally irresponsible. I HIGHLY RESENT paying increasing direct and indirect taxes to support an extravagant party while the quality of life for all but the wealthiest of this country deteriorates by the day.

Comments: i think that if the olympics are held in vancouver that i wont really matter b/c the people from vancouver wont likely attend b/c the tickets are reserved for all the politics and etc. so i think it wont really matter to me b/c no matter where it is you will be able to watch it on tv, so thats my reason for, well actually im not sure where it should be held.

Comments: We shold not be cutting health care and all the things that might support the Olimpics in time we shoul be preparing for the best of it. I think we should have the Olympics because it will provide something for our youth to look fored to and I would do alot of Good for Vancover to get something interesting. Thank You and i HOPE you support my disishion.
