| 163 | Anonymous | I have a SONY VAIO FZ21Z, bought in november 2007. I was very satisfied with the laptop performance at first and even recommended to many of my friends. Now Since 3 days I am occasionally getting blue screens and restarts with horizontal lines and destorted image and resolution.
I have had bad experience with laptop heating in the past with ACER and HP and went for Sony trusting better quality at a price. Now even if I donot play games, and just leave my laptop online for a while downloading stuff, it is freezing. And after reading your above posts I am very worried.
I bought the laptop in Slovakia. At that time they said it comes with a 2 year warranty but I believe this is for Europe only. I am in India at the moment and heading to China to study. Since I will be studying full-time, I am very worried if my laptop will die on me. Its been a costly investment for me and cant afford any mishaps.
Need advice assistance and help :(

Have a Geforce 8400GT.
This is unbeliveable as I spent US$ 2.000,00 for this notebook and for this price you expect at least something well projected. |

When will some agency or body make these companies and resellers which provide terrible after care and attitudes that treat the customer in a most insulting manner responsible for the enourmous amount of time wasted, work lost,huge extra costs that are placed on the buyer and procedures which are at best blocking buyers from ever getting any help in a speedy way if at all and treated so badly by shops. Nearly every laptop I have purchased has hardware problems. It is incredible. |

I have a Vaio FZ15G, my issue is the same. The GPU melted down. Sony service guyz took 1100 INR just to diagnose it and later asked 23000 INR for motherboard replacement(including all taxes).
My machine is 18 months old.
I am so disappointed with Nvidia....Never gonna buy Nvidia again..ATI Radeon is far better. |
