There is currently a proposed demolition and subsequent ground-up construction of the UW Hillel building located at 611 Langdon Street, at the intersection of Langdon Street. and N. Frances St. The project is scheduled to begin on November 12, 2007 and will include heavy demolition. This particular building and site is located on a block which is densely populated by UW-Madison students. By signing this petition I am calling for an adjustment of the construction schedule and/or the hours of construction to appropriately accommodate the students and businesses that are located in the immediate vicinity of the proposed construction.
